English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)

Our English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) meets at least six times per year to review topics related to English Learners. Topics include:

  • The Importance of Regular School Attendance
  • Comprehensive Needs Assessment
  • Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA)
  • Language Census
  • English Learner Master Plan

The English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) is replacing the California English Language Development Test (CELDT) this Spring 2018. The ELPAC tests English Learners in the areas of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
